Hopkinton Affordable Housing Task Force.  Passed affordable housing bylaw in town and formed affordable housing corporation.  Recognized at State House with other members of the committee for doing so.

Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm provides therapeutic horseback riding for disabled persons, disabled veterans, and those with cancer or Alzheimer's.  I am active in the fundraising.  A-SNAP (Association for Special Needs Activities and Programs) I am the treasurer and on the board of directors for this group which provides extra curricular and social activities for special needs persons so they don't just go to school and go home; or go to work and go home.  They are able to bowl with their peers, go to ball games with their peers, have dances and holiday parties with their peers.  They are not different. No one looks at them and judges them.  They are not alone or mainstreamed.  They are the mainstream.

For the past 15 years my family has run a Cystic Fibrosis Walk from our home in Billerica. To date we have raised over $450,000.00.
All volunteer/free time is devoted to youth sports in West Roxbury.  I have coached the following: street hockey, baseball, flag football and soccer.
I serve on the board off Community Call, a NPO which provides education in community issue and incentivized and motivates at risk and opportunity youth in the Boston school system.   I have also served on the board of the Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund, which provides one time payments to assist homeless individuals and families in finding and staying in housing, and  am past Board Member and President of Masterworks Chorale, one of Boston's top choral societies.

I did a pro bono divorce for the Women's Bar Foundation Family Law Project and provided pro bono legal advice in housing, education, and immigration matters for Open Door Legal in San Francisco. I also volunteered doing intake for the Children's Law Center of Massachusetts.
I did the mock trial competitions last year, but was out of town this year. I would love to continue participating in that activity! 
I am a BBO volunteer hearing officer. I am President of Massachusetts Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. I was on the executive board of the MBA's Solo and Small Firm Committee. For the last two year, I volunteered at the Special Olympics through the MBA.

This afternoon at our firm's summer party, we are having a cornhole tournament to benefit RIZE, a non-profit dedicated to preventing opioid addition.  Entry into the tournament requires a small entry fee and then the firm matches the contribution.
