The Keynote Speaker and recipient of MATA’s “Consumer Advocacy Award” on MATA’s 2012 Annual Dinner on May 2 is Harvard Professor and U.S. Senate Candidate Elizabeth Warren. Held at the Newton Marriott, the dinner will follow a half-day of educational seminars on a variety of issues.  Elizabeth Warren has been a law professor at Harvard University for almost 20 years, a published author and is currently running for the U.S. Senate in Massachusetts.   She has a history of fighting for consumer rights and for hard-working middle class families. The Boston Globe calls her: “…the plainspoken voice of people getting crushed by so many predatory lenders and under regulated banks.” A longtime advocate for the rights of American families, Elizabeth Warren is focused on the nation’s economy and winning protection for middle class families caught in the country financial crisis.  Please make plans to join us at the Newton Marriott on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 for the MATA Annual Dinner and hear to hear the thoughts of Elizabeth Warren, a candidate for the U. S. Senate.
